Product Overview

The Carbon Fiber Picatinny Drop Stock – Modular Series from Ether-3D is a completely redesigned version of our original drop stock, offering increased strength, more sizing options, and a new modular design that allows customers to configure the stock to better fit their setup.

The new design is available with either a 220 mm or 175 mm stock body and your choice of a 1-inch, 1.5-inch, or 2-inch drop. Stock body measurements are taken before the mounting adapter and rear butt-end are installed.

One of the biggest improvements is the increased body thickness. The previous design measured approximately 21.6 mm thick, while the new version has been increased to 27 mm — a 25% increase in thickness for a more substantial and reinforced design.

The new modular rear interface is also compatible with the interchangeable butt-end options offered on our other current Ether-3D stock designs. This allows customers to choose between a Tailhook-style butt-end or one of four buttpad configurations, including options with an integrated QD mounting point and/or rubber end pad.

Each stock also includes both a folding and fixed 1913 Picatinny adapter, allowing the mounting configuration to be changed without purchasing a separate stock.

Manufactured from PETG carbon-fiber reinforced material, each stock is precision 3D printed using a reinforced, high-infill construction for a balance of strength, rigidity, and durability.

Note: The listed 220 mm and 175 mm dimensions refer to the stock body only and do not include the 1913 mounting adapter or selected rear butt-end. Final overall length will vary depending on the selected configuration.

Butt-End Options

Choose the rear configuration that best fits your setup:

• Tailhook-Style Butt-End – Compatible modular Tailhook-style rear end
• QD + Rubber Pad – Integrated QD mounting point with rubber end pad
• QD – No Rubber Pad – Integrated QD mounting point with standard hard end
• Non-QD + Rubber Pad – Standard design without QD mounting point and includes rubber end pad
• Non-QD – No Rubber Pad – Standard design without QD mounting point or rubber end pad

The modular design also makes it possible to change butt-end styles later without replacing the entire stock.

Because dimensions and configurations can vary between platforms and adapters, please verify that your setup has a compatible 1913 Picatinny mounting surface before ordering.

Important Information

The 220 mm and 175 mm measurements are stock-body dimensions only. The mounting adapter and selected butt-end will add to the final overall length.

Each stock is manufactured using carbon-fiber reinforced PETG and individually produced using additive manufacturing. Minor variations in surface texture or layer appearance are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

For best results, apply a medium-strength thread locker to mounting hardware during installation. Do not overtighten mounting hardware. Verify proper fit and secure attachment before use.
